Abstract

 

Aeromodelling sports aerospace sports that grow together with both civil and military aviation world. Aeromodelling sport has developed in several cities in Indonesia including in Papua Province. Papua, which is an area that has an extreme climate has its own challenges in doing aeromodelling sport. Fluctuating wind speeds and unstable air temperatures are one of the dominant factors in the ability to fly glider type aircraft. Based on the above problems it is important to do a study or research related to how the influence of wind speed and air temperature on the ability of flying Glider aircraft. Related to this study, the title of this research is: "The Effect of Wind Speed and Air Temperature on Air Traffic Type Aerospace Aerial Sporting Bike Glider.

The results of the implementation of the research that has been done as well as analysis of data obtained can be concluded: (1) There is a significant influence between wind speed (X1) with the ability to fly the type of glider plane (Y) aeromodeling sport is shown by the value of r greater than 0 , 5. This indicates a significant positive or significant proportion, (2) There is a significant influence between air temperature (X2) with the flight capability of the Aeromodelling Aerodynamic (Y) airplane flight type shown greater than 0.5.
