Penerapan STAD Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sejarah Kelas XI-IPS-2 SMAN 1 Gowa

This Classroom Action Research aims to determine how the effect of STAD implementation in improving the learning outcomes of History students in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. To achieve this goal, the research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle starts from the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The success of the action in each cycle is seen from the learning outcomes of students following the individual ability test. Data from cycle I results were described and then reflected on to determine corrective actions in cycle II. Data from cycle II results were analyzed by comparing learning outcomes on the cycle I ability test. With the standard KKM in History subjects is 78, the standard of completeness that must be achieved is at least 85% of the number of students.
The research results in the initial condition before the action was taken were 56.76% classical completeness. In cycle I, it obtained a classical completeness rate of 29.73% so that it was continued in cycle II because it had not been successful. In cycle II, the classical completeness rate was 97.30%. The results showed that the class action research conducted from the initial conditions to the end of cycle II showed an increase in student learning outcomes.
