PROFIL PENALARAN VISUOSPASIAL MAHASISWA S1 PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA UNIVERSITAS CENDERAWASIH DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH GEOMETRI
Abstract
Penalaran visuospasial banyak digunakan orang untuk menyelesaikan masalah-masalah yang ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang berkaitan dengan ruang. Penalaran visuospasial diartikan sebagai aktivitas mental yang berkenaan dengan penarikan simpulan terhadap informasi visuospasial objek-objek. Hasil penelitian terhadap satu subjek menunjukkan bahwa (1) dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri berbantu alat peraga kubus satuan, dapat dibuat model lintasan proses penalaran visuospasial. (2) model lintasan penalaran visuospasial dapat memuat model lintasan berpikir yang berbentuk linier dan juga model lintasan berpikir yang tidak berbentuk linier.
