PROFIL KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI UNIVERSITAS CENDERAWASIH TAHUN AKADEMIK 2020/2021

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan di Indonesia menuntut mahasiswa untuk memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam menunjang kemajuan dalam proses pembelajaran, termasuk mahasiswa di lingkungan Universitas Cenderawasih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Profil Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Cenderawasih. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripsi kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data survei. Penelitian  dilakukan pada semester genap bulan Januari-April tahun akademik 2020/2021, dengan populasi  berjumlah 261 mahasiswa, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 78 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh Profil Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Cenderawasih Tahun Akademik 2020/2021 rata-rata memiliki kategori baik (2,79). Setiap mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan untuk menjadi kreatif dengan karakter-karakter yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Karakter tersebut dapat dilihat melalui indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa diukur dari setiap indikatornya, diperoleh hasil diantaranya: kemampuan berpikir lancar termasuk dalam kategori baik, (2,89), kemampuan berpikir luwes termasuk dalam kategori baik (2,64), kemampuan berpikir orisinal termasuk dalam kategori baik (2,77), kemampuan berpikir memerinci termasuk dalam kategori baik (3,24), kemampuan berpikir menilai termasuk dalam kategori baik (2,73), kemampuan berpikir rasa ingin tahu termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik (2,29), kemampuan berpikir imajinatif termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik (2,50), kemampuan berpikir menantang termasuk dalam kategori baik (2,90), kemampuan berpikir berani termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik (2,55), kemampuan berpikir menghargai termasuk dalam kategori baik (3,18).

ABSTRACT

The education system in Indonesia requires students to have the ability to think creatively in supporting progress in the learning process, including students at Cenderawasih University. The purpose of this study was to determine the Profile of Creative Thinking Ability Students of the Biology Education Study Program, Cenderawasih University. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using survey data collection methods. The study was conducted in the even semester of January-April 2020/2021 academic year, with a population of 261 students, with a research sample of 78 students. The results showed that the Profile of Creative Thinking Ability Students of the Cenderawasih University Biology Study Program for the Academic Year 2020/2021 had an average good category (2.79). Every student has the ability to be creative with the students' characters. These characters can be seen through indicators of creative thinking skills. The average creative thinking ability of students is measured from each indicator, the results obtained include: the ability to think fluently is included in the good category, (2.89), the ability to think flexible is included in the good category (2.64), the ability to think original is included in the good category (2.77), the ability to think in detail is included in the good category (3.24), the ability to think judge is included in the good category (2.73), the ability to think curiosity is included in the poor category (2.29), the ability to think imaginative thinking is included in the poor category (2.50), the ability to think challenging is included in the good category (2.90), the ability to think boldly is included in the poor category (2.55), the ability to appreciate thinking is included in the good category (3.18 ).
