Pengembangan Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Pembelajaran Portofolio di Perguruan Tinggi

Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek penting dalam pengembangan peserta didik di perguruan tinggi, yang tidak hanya berfokus pada kecerdasan intelektual, tetapi juga pada nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan sosial. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi penerapan pembelajaran berbasis portofolio sebagai sarana pengembangan pendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi. Melalui metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan 50 mahasiswa dari tiga program studi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran portofolio berperan signifikan dalam mengembangkan tanggung jawab, kemandirian, integritas, dan keterampilan reflektif mahasiswa. Selain itu, portofolio membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan kerja sama yang diperlukan dalam dunia profesional. Dengan portofolio, mahasiswa dituntut untuk mengambil peran aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, merefleksikan keputusan etis, dan bertanggung jawab atas hasil karya mereka. Artikel ini juga membahas tantangan dalam implementasi portofolio di perguruan tinggi, terutama dalam hal keberagaman latar belakang mahasiswa dan komitmen institusi.
