KARAKTERISASI MORFOLOGIS BEBERAPA VARIETAS Abelmoschus manihot L. DI JAYAPURA

Abelmoschus manihot L. or in local name known as gedi almost eat by Papuan people as vegetables and also as medicine plant. This research aims to get morphologi characters from several variety of A. manihot L. in Jayapura as plant diversity database. Survey with Purposif Random Sampling and laboratory analisys methods was used in this research. The result showed that there are three variety of A. manihot L. i.e Abelmoschus manihot L. var.1, Abelmoschus manihot L. var.2, dan Abelmoschus manihot L. var.3 which have different in stem colour, petiole colour, leaf shape, leaf margo shape, and leaf colour characters.
