This research aimsto measured the value ofillumination in the roomat thePhysicsBuilding, FMIPA, Cenderawasih University, andcompared the value withstandardvalueof thegovernment regulations. This research used adescriptivemethodof datameasured directlyby usingequipmentluxmeter. The results obtainedaredepend illumination valueofthe positionof thelight sourceandthe value ofillumination inthe roomatthe Physics buildingis under thethresholdrequired bygovernmentregulation.
