Abstract

Climate change is a global phenomenon in which the natural conditions has experienced a shift in the long span of time (tens to hundreds of years). Identification of climate change, among others, there has been a global warming trend of increasing temperatures cause the earth both on land and at sea, so changing the water cycle that leads to climate change such as air temperature, precipitation and so forth. The impact of climate change can be felt varies in each region. This study was performed to determine the climate changes that occurred in Papua based on the elements of the climate observed by BMKG using trend analysis. The results obtained are few locations in Papua, Biak, Sentani, Timika and Merauke increased minimum air temperature and the number of significant rainfall.
