Focus and Scope

Indonesian Journal of Nursing and Health in Tropical Settings focuses on advancing nursing and health sciences through the publication of original research articles, review articles, and evidence-based scholarly works that address health issues and nursing practices in tropical settings. The journal serves as an academic platform to support the development of nursing education, healthcare services, and health-related policies that are relevant to national, regional, and tropical countries, particularly within Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region.

 

The scope of the journal encompasses a broad range of nursing and health-related fields, including fundamental and nursing management, medical-surgical nursing, maternity and reproductive health, pediatric nursing, psychiatric and mental health nursing, family and community nursing, gerontological nursing, critical care, emergency and disaster nursing, as well as public health and tropical health issues. In addition, the journal welcomes manuscripts related to nursing education, health policy, research methodology, measurement and assessment instruments, analytical techniques, multidisciplinary health studies, and systematic reviews that contribute to improving the quality of nursing and health research in tropical contexts.
