Analisis penguasaan konsep kecepatan reaksi pada Peserta didik kelas xi ipa 3 SMA YPPK teruna bakti Jayapura

The purpose of this study is to analyze students' mastery of concepts and the factors that influence it. This research was conducted at SMA YPPK Teruna Bakti Jayapura class XI IPA 3 with a total study population of 33 students. Data collection was carried out by giving test questions as many as 30 questions. The results of the analysis obtained that the mastery of the concept of reaction speed in class XI IPA 3 SMA YPPK Teruna Bakti Jayapura is grouped into 4 categories, namely: a) High category with a percentage between 63.64% - 75.76%; b) Medium category with a percentage between 45.45% - 48.48%; c) Low category with a percentage between 21.21% - 39.39%; and d) Very low category with a percentage between 3.03% - 18.18%. The average of students’ mastery concept 39.19% in the low category. It can be stated that almost half of the students in class XI IPA 3 at SMA YPPK Teruna Bakti Jayapura have mastered the concept of speed of reaction. Factors that influence students' mastery concepts of speed reaction in class XI IPA 3 SMA YPPK Teruna Bakti Jayapura, include students' desire to learn, incomplete textbooks, teacher teaching methods, students apply a memorization system rather than mastering concepts and students do not understand simple concepts well.
